Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PatchFinder processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

What PatchFinder is for

PatchFinder is a community-powered tool for sharing recent estradiol patch availability checks. PatchFinder is operated by Voyage Ventures LLC. Ordinary community use does not require an account.

Information you choose to submit

An availability report includes the pharmacy or delivery provider, availability status, patch details, when availability was checked, and an optional community note. Historical reports may be retained so PatchFinder can preserve useful availability history and support moderation.

Do not submit names, birthdates, diagnoses, prescription details, insurance information, medical records, exact home addresses, pharmacy credentials, personal phone numbers, or reasons for using estradiol.

Search and location information

Searches use the ZIP code or city/state you enter to find nearby pharmacies. PatchFinder does not request precise browser or device location and does not intentionally create a home-address profile or store your search as part of a community report.

Security and abuse prevention

PatchFinder processes standard request information to protect public forms from spam, automated attacks, duplicate submissions, and rapid manipulation. Request network information is transformed with a secret key into an endpoint-specific opaque identifier that rotates daily. PatchFinder application records use the derived identifier rather than intentionally storing the raw network address.

Derived abuse-control identifiers are kept in short-lived records that expire automatically. Permanent moderation records retain the community flag and moderation decision without retaining the derived visitor identifier. Hosting and security providers may process standard request data under their own service practices.

Service providers

PatchFinder uses Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and administrator authentication services, and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Pharmacy discovery uses public CMS NPPES directory data and U.S. Census geocoding services. These services may receive the technical information needed to fulfill a request.

Administrator access

Authorized moderators use email-based authentication. Administrator email addresses and authentication records are used only to secure moderation access. Ordinary users are not asked to create accounts.

Your choices

You can search by ZIP code or city without submitting a report, omit the optional community note, and report incorrect availability information for review. Do not place privacy or security requests in community notes because notes may be displayed publicly after moderation.

Corrections and contact

Use Report Incorrect Information on an availability result to request a review of that report. For general questions, privacy requests, or security concerns, email hello@findapatch.com. Please do not put unrelated contact requests or sensitive information in a community report or note.

Security and policy changes

PatchFinder uses access controls, restrictive database policies, bot verification, rate limits, and moderation controls to reduce risk. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version.
